A. Wedding Content Creators and Videographers are different vendors that will provide you with a different perspective of your wedding day.
Most couples, when assessing a Videography vendor, are looking for them to capture and create a Cinematic Short Film (6-15 mins long) that highlights all the major moments of your wedding day. They'll typically overlay actual audio from the day (like your vows) as they work to tell a cohesive story of your wedding day and your love story! This usually takes videography teams anywhere from 4 - 12 weeks to deliver, which is around the same turnaround time that you’d expect from your Photographer. Videography can cost anywhere from $3,000 - $6,000.
Wedding Content Creators (WCC’s) can provide all of the photos and videos they take throughout your day anywhere from when they leave your event to 1-2 business days after your event. You'll receive raw, unedited photos and videos that may have people walk-in frame but that is the nature of the offering as we’re providing behind-the-scenes clips that you’ll have access to quickly and conveniently through your mobile devices. While I do provide a short form highlight video, it will be no longer than 90 seconds and is meant for social media sharing. WCC’s can cost anywhere from $1,200 - $2,500.
Both have their pros and cons so deciding what is more important for your wedding day and your budget is what it’ll come down to for you!
A. 100% NO!
I understand Photography and Videography are the top priority of the day as they're capturing photos and videos you'll be looking at for years to come. I do not want to step on any toes or interfere with their work.
If I need dedicated time to film specific edits I will work with your planner/ day of coordinator to slot a time for us to do that so it doesn't interfere with photography/ videography.
I see myself as an extension of your media team and I’m committed to collaborating closely with your Photography and or Videography team to ensure we are all able to capture all the magical moments of your day while sticking to your timeline.
I will reach out to your photograher/videographer before the wedding day to introduce myself via email so they know who I am and what I'm there to capture.
